Friday, January 15th, 2010I sent an email out to a bunch of entertainment industry people (mainstream and adult based) in my address book today, stating that I wanted to try to have a weekly ‘guest blogger’ on my blog, my whole theory being that I constantly rant about the ups and downs of porn and get so much shit for it, however I know that I just doing what everyone else had the nerve to do and the reputation to blow. So, why not allow industry people some time to do what I do and rant about whatever the hell they want?! Fuck it! Talk shit… Be anonymous if you want… I’ll take the heat from it!
I sent a number of text messages today and a couple mass emails, and it only took minutes to get numerous ‘Hell yeah, I’m in!’ responses, and only a couple hours to get my first guest blog.
Again, I’ve told people they can remain anonymous if they’d like, but I’d always put their occupation so that everyone knew where it was coming from. And I would also NEVER alter their blog in any way, shape or form. So, here it is, the first guy to sit down and let his fingers pound away at the keyboard and say whatever the hell it is that was in his head…

Not more then 2 years ago I offered Mick $700 for a scene and he turned it down stating that he cannot work for less then $800! Fukin Ridiculous I thought, who the hell would not wanna fuk a hot chick for that kind of money when other people in the world are starving to death living in the streets… I dont get it…. but now I guarantee you if I call a Male porn star they will do scenes for half of their normal expected exceptional rate. Wow times have changed, porn sucks now, everyone is struggling, yes I know that some girls are still working weekly and if your one of them and reading this (save your money) times I believe are only going to get tougher and the economy is only going to get worse. Who will he battle with now on the web… I dont blog, ever, and im just really bored, and Ive always had a thing for the sexy Jayden Jaymes so I thought Id share some precious time on her site her with all of you that stop by to read my wacky thoughts. As far as I go I was the guy that never did porn for the money. I actually cared about what I was shooting and all I wanted to ever get was the best sex and realism… realism was to me, most important, too much porn was fake, scripted, planned, guess thats why its hard for me to watch porn that seems fake… like films from wicked and vivid. I was always into the more gonzo style hey whats your name lets fuk porn… and I give it up to the guys that can do the scenes without having to stick a needle in their dick. If its that tough I walk… Bad day… walk…. not walk to the bathroom and inject! crazy shit, I have seen some crazy shit in the last thirteen years. Fuk, im going to miss alot of shit and i have a lot of great memories… alot of crazy ones too, You cant be a porn director and date a porn star and not! There were some really great days and of course some really bad days, but You try to forget the bad ones and put them behind you… Now for the future, what happens to the Jim Powers and the Vivid and Wicked and Porn Stars, where will they be in ten years? Twenty years? What will happen the year that possibly AVN is no longer with us? Will everyone still gather at circle bar at the Venetian that first week of January even if there is no show? I know people that went to Vegas this year, but did not go to the show or awards but only to attend the parties, so I can definently see endless possiblities of a 20 year reunion at the circle bar in 2030! We all know people that did not make it to the end of the year, unfortunately, that would have been at AVN, who knows maybe Michael Jackson would have shown up with Brittany Murphy! Not very probable but yet unfortunate. Life is short and your only guaranteed 2 things in life, and porn is not one of them. So I will leave you all with a question to ask yourselves… What has porn done for you? I will answer this question for you all from my perspective. . . for me porn has gotten me off like a bizzilion times, it has made me notice and appreciate a good manicure on a woman, its helped me to better understand what is real and whats not, I can better understand the way people feel and express themselves, its helped me to understand how important it is to be there for your kids if you have them one day, and most of all its helped me to appreciate family. There are friends that I have had in this business since 1997 and I consider them family. I dont judge people and I hope you dont judge me, try to get to know someone before you decide your final opinion of them and everyone Happy New Year, if you walking around life miserable then make some changes because its not the world that hates you, its you that hates the world! Donnie (I know you by your real name and prefer that, by the way!), thanks for doing that! My personal opinion – The industry’s going down the drain! I ran into Gia Paloma the other day and she straight asked me, “Do you think porn’s going to be around in 5 years?” We both gave each other the same look of confusion… “I doubt it… At least not like it is today… And definitely not like it was just 3 years ago when I first got in…”
Things are changing. 95% of the girls are escorts and making their money and shooting scenes because it’s extra money. What about someone like me? Or one of my best friends, Phoenix Marie? We don’t escort. We’re both considered solid performers, yet our schedules are wide open apart from a few scenes a month. And since we don’t escort, we don’t have additional income coming in. So what do we do? At what point do we get another job? At what point to you leave and hope the world can take you seriously as a working American while dealing with the wrath of ‘porn people’ looking down upon you for wanting to get another job because they see it as you thinking you’re better than them, when in fact we’re ALL struggling?!?!?! It’s a fucked up situation and it fucking sucks.
