Raiding Oakland…
I spent the majority of my Saturday morning and afternoon at my girlfriend Lynda’s place, borrowing her over to bake a couple pies for some friends at a local fire house. Since my oven is broken (I have no idea what’s up, but it’s too hot! I burned a pie that takes 50 minutes to bake in 10 minutes!!!) and I had promised a special treat, I took over Lynda’s kitchen.
I brought my dog with my over there so she could see her little doggie boyfriend, Tito. (He’s a Chihuahua… My girl’s a Pitt!) They played all day and fought over a little unicorn toy, and I managed to bake two chocolate chip cookie dough cheesecakes that I delivered to a Studio City fire house with Ivan when we dropped off all of the donations that we collected the other night during our charity event. All of the sexy firefighters LOVED the pies and were so very grateful for all of the donations!
Back to Lynda’s house… While have a little girl talk, Lynda received a phone call from an old friend… Long story short, this friend had two GOOD tickets to the Raiders games that were going to go to waste, so Lynda jumped on the opportunity to take them off her hands! Me, not being the biggest football fan, told her to go ahead and invite someone else that would appreciate it more, but I guess everyone else was busy because I was invited! Spontaneous road trip to Oakland, anyone???
So the plan was for me to go home, pack a little overnight bag, take my dog to the doggie day care people, make my delivery of goods to the fire house, spend the night at Lynda’s, and be out of the house EARLY to get to the game, then head home afterwards.
Well, after running around with chores, and then having dinner with Ivan after dropping off the donations and Lynda watch the UFC fights at a friend’s house, we met back and her place and were both far from tired. So… what else were we to do… We hit the road… Stopping for some caffeine, of course!

5 Hour Energy for the 5 hour drive!
The drive up to Oakland seemed to take FOREVER!!! But, it was indeed 5 hours! We pulled into a Marriott hotel at about 4:30am, got a room so we could sleep for a few hours, and were up at 11am.
Kickoff was at 1:05, I believe, and we walked in just as the game started. Our seats were GREAT! We were behind one of the goal posts, six rows back. GREAT view!

The view from our seats: Raiders vs. RedSkins

Me and Lynda look like we're 300 pounds each, trying to keep warm with all of our layers!!!

Go Raiders!
I had never been to a football game before this, and I had heard that the Raiders fans were among the craziest, but I had a great time! I will say this though: I don’t get why people get all up in each others faces, screaming that their team is better than the other. Who cares?! Yeah, cool, pick a team, learn it, live it, love it. But everyone is entitled to their opinion… There’s no need to fight because someone doesn’t see it the way you do! lol. Crazy people!
And the major downside of the day: RAIN!!! I can handle a little rain… but it was SO COLD up there in Oakland!!! OMG!!! Our jeans were SOAKED and our toes were so numb!!! I was enjoying the live action, but I was MISERABLE!!!
Oh, and while at the game, I got a text from my party promoter guy in Canada and he wants to bring me out to host an event next month! Yay!!! However, he was looking to get one of my friends as well, which is cool, but one of my mainstream friends that I’ve already had some drama with (because people think we’re dating but we’re not and we’re just friends, etc.). I wanna do the party… And I know this person would love to do the party… But I don’t know if it’s gonna happen for BOTH OF US! But I’ll keep you posted!
Anyway, after the game, we hit up a local BBQ restaurant to get some food and, yes, watch ANOTHER football game! lol. Lynda is a HUGE Eagles fan (hence the past drama of us meeting her fav QB in Vegas! LMAO!!!) The food at this place was AMAZING!!! Down-home cookin’ – BBQ, cornbread, potatoes, greens, coleslaw.. OH MY GOD!!! Even worse, we had dessert!!! But it was too good to pass up! And after eating, we headed in to the lounge area of the restaurant to finish the game. We got lucky with this place… the lounge had couches!!! I slept a little and Lynda watched the game.
We headed home around 8:30 and, after dropping Lynda off at home, I was in bed by 2am.
I was up at 9am this morning for a doctor appointment and to run a couple errands. And tomorrow I’m off to Oakland, again, but this time I’m flying! I’ll be shooting for Kink.com for the first time ever. I’m actually quite nervous! I’m not a fan out being tied up, but we’re just shooting some solo stuff and they said it’s nothing extravagant. Thank God! I’m okay with a little bondage, but I don’t like any pain infliction. Plus, I’m claustrophobic, so ropes and gags make me freak out a little. They’ve assured me that I’ll be in complete control so I’m feeling a little better about it. It’ll be a good experience… and I’ll let you know how it goes!
